Dear Carmen,

I hardly know where to begin.

I guess I will just start, but in no particular order of importance - just feedback as it comes to mind.

First, our vacation was a dream come true and was ensured thanks to the professionalism and organizational efforts of your company, you and those with whom we had the pleasure of working on our travels.  Simply said, you all are very buttoned up and it showed in how effortless it was for us from the time we boarded the plan, to our hotel, to our excursions and back.  Thank you and Maria for this great work. 

Many in the U.S. think that we have the market on customer service levels, but you all would certainly put that to the test.  So keep up your attention to detail and making the traveler’s needs a primary focus, you will have devoted adherents for a long time to come.

Second, the physical and mental toll of the 4 day Inca Trail trek can wear one down to the point of not fully enjoying the once in a life time magical experience of arriving at Macchu Pichu as fatigue, displacement, climate, etc. can drain everything from even the hardiest individual.  But that was not to be thanks to the patience, good nature and engaging personality of Juan Carlos our guide and the amazing support of our porter crew who blew us away each day as we saw them whizzing by as if there were no mountains before them.  It was a good laugh for us, if not humbling (in a very good way).   I am not a camper/hiker plain and simple, but I wanted to share this experience with my family and friends so off I went on this “roughing it” vacation.  Juan Carlos made it such a pleasure, a joy and enriching experience which is a challenge for someone like me who defines a good vacation by poolside service, cocktails and sun.  So while I was out of my usual vacation element, I found our daily meals with JC and the porter team highlights as we got to share, laugh and break bread with great people in a world apart from anything I have ever seen.  He truly helped keep us motivated, comfortable and moving along to get us to the Sun Gate in good form so we could fully enjoy the efforts of our labors.  He was a perfect fit for our group and we all came away feeling touched by him.

I am forever grateful to your company and all that it did to make our Peruvian experience one that I will carry for the rest of my days.  I am a lucky man for it.

Just a note of thanks to you. We had a wonderful trip and would not hesitate in recommending Travel agency.

We thought both our guides were superb, particularly Eddie Pizarro in Cusco. Maria was also very helpful there.

In Puerto Maldonado our guide Julian Herrera had his hands full as we were with a Russian family including a 9yo boy. WE were the only group in the jungle with a child and feel we should have been informed of this particularly as it was for 5 days. We loved Heath R Lodge.

It was the only negative and not because we do not like children - to the contrary - we love them! But this child was bored and I am afraid, overall, the family were very loud, always making noise which was awful in the jungle. Julian managed this well often having to take us on separate walks, so working harder. I would like this information relayed to his manager as I did not write it on the feedback form in the office. I also believe in such small groups you should inform others if childern are included.

We will not return to the issue of the hotel in Arequipa! They did not stick to their word and did work on day 2. It was a pity as we loved the city. LAN sorted out our reservation there as there was a problem with the INR and I could not check-in on-line. All well in the end.

Travel agency works out of small but obviously very efficient offices and I will always recommend them. We hope to return in the future. Thank-you

Dear Samantha

We would like to thank you for the wonderful attention we received from Peru Travel over the Easter break during our trip to Cuzco and Macchu Picchu. The guides were pleasant, punctual and attentive and it was great to have the arranged transport waiting every time we needed it. We had a really good time.

I also want to especially thank you for managing to retrieve my sunglasses from the hotel in Cuzco and to courier them back to Venezuela. My friends are amazed I got them back!
